ABOUT ME:
Can we skip this part? I find it awkward to write about myself . . . but I'll give it a whirl, just for you.
I'm JR, a lot of people call me Rae. Although, you can call me junior or J.R. if your heart so desires. My husband and I love anything outdoors, especially skiing and biking. We have two puppies, named Rufio and Tiger Lily, because we are Peter Pan and Hook fanatics. No, we don't have kids yet, shocking as it is. I started out as quite the reluctant reader, being frustrated with dyslexia and ADD. I came to love reading because my sister insisted I read Harry Potter. 15+ years later, here I am, passionate about books and writing. I dabble in quite a few things, hence the random recipe or rambling posts. I am obsessed with Psychology, Cognition, Neuroscience . . . really any science, so feel free to talk nerdy to me. I selfishly relocated my family to California so that I could attend graduate school for a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, but Utah is and will always be my home. I also have a weird obsession with penguins, polar bears, pies, and art. And just to throw this out there, I'm left-handed.
