City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Clary must travel, against the law, into Idris in order to save her mother. Unfortunately for her, no one else wants her to go, especially Jace. This roller-coaster of a story follows Clary and her friends as they try to save the shadowhunter world from the utter chaos Valentine plans to destroy them with. There were quite a few predictable plot twists. As predictable as they were, they remained gut-wrenching and emotional, making it difficult to put the book down. There were still several unexpected plot twists intertwined within the story, again making it hard for me to divert my eyes. If you want a book that is easy to read, yet still gives you an emotional thrill, I would definitely recommend this one (as well as the rest of The Mortal Instruments series).

As always, enjoy!
