Book Review: The Last Book in the Universe

The Last Book in the Universe by Rodman Philbrick

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

This futuristic book is set in a time when most people are violent, live in fear and poverty, and are to often plugged into brain-draining entertainment systems. Spaz, an epileptic teenager, is one of the few 'normals' to see the work as it is. While on a run for the local gang, Spaz meets an old man called Ryter. Spaz, accompanied by Ryter, sets of on what is likely their last great adventure: to save his dying sister, and possibly the world.

This book was a fun, easy, and fast read; a simple, but make-you-think type of book. If you're looking for an entertaining, heart-tugging, quick book fix, definitely try this one!
